Hippocampus Erectus

Hippocampus erectus, or Lined seahorses, often have banded patterns throughout the body and may exhibit extensions on the face and head called cerri. These are arguably the heartiest of all seahorses and the easiest to keep for home aquarists. These seahorses can be found in a variety of colors in the ocean but, will change depending on mood and certain times of the year. We utilize selective breeding to produce colors like yellow or orange that will not change under these conditions. We offer a variety of sizes, colors, cerri and mated pairs. As always, our seahorses arrive healthy and solely on frozen foods.
